hahahaha... best x tajuk ? mcm gila suspen dan skema ala-ala tajuk berita dekat Berita Harian. hohoho... biarlah, bukan selalu pun kan dapat chance to update pasal bende2 macam ni. Imma post some of the days I spent in Alexandria during the riot. I'm sure semua orang tahu sangat pasal rusuhan besar-besaran dekat Egypt tu kan, kalau x tahu ambik senapang tembak diri sendiri sekarang jugak! I'm doing it like a journal, podaah! so kene lah baca panjang menjela-jela.

Time : 11.40 pm ( Egypt ) , 5.40 am (Malaysia )

Venue: Home, Cleopatra Sughra, Alexandria, Egypt

Temperature : approximately 14 degree, wind

It’s night and dark. The curfew starts on 4 pm onwards this afternoon and should end by 8 am tomorrow. For today’s record, there’s no riot or demonstration happens in Alex ( as far as I’m concern ). I never felt worse then today and at this moment. Lets start with early in the morning. Woke up at 10 am. The sun shines and brighten my day ecehh… Looked out the window and the scenery was just the same as before. Nothing much. Then received a call from Kak Kuya, regarding her plan with other 7 girls from Moscow. She asked me to be her mushrif a.k.a tour guide since I’ve been travelling all over Alex. She said that if the phone line is being disconnected tonight, then the plan might be cancel.

2 of my housemates (Ikri and Khalil) went to gym but eventually it’s closed. So they headed to their friends house near the gym just to discover that the curfew for today was 4 pm (yesterdays curfew was 6 pm). While having lunch, received a call from Ikri at 3.15pm and he asked me to buy the groceries. Yes we are running out of rice, sugar, and the cooking oil. At 3.45 pm I went down and there’s only 2 and ½ shops open. Each shop was full of peoples. The street was empty, unlike previous days, packed with cars honking one another. The shopkeeper seems rushed when I asked for 2 packs of rice and a bottle of oil. Oh, he even said that he didn’t sell the oil just because the oil was located at the top most of the shelf. So he kinda reluctant and malas to grab that oil. Ngeng! So I had to use my specialty in begging. Hewhewhew.. merayu punya merayu dapat gak minyak. Then the customers after me mintak something, semua dia kata x da. Hahaha.. cuak nak tutup kedai punya pasal.

7.00 pm when I was about to prepare the dinner, heard a noise from next door. Kalut gilaaaaa and clumsy gila-gilaaaa. Peeping through the hole on the door and I saw the owner of the house was talking to my neighbours and the corridor was dark. Usha punya usha, curious pulak nak tahu coz bile curik-curik dengar tak paham sepatah haram pun apa yg depa dok habaq. So bukak la pintu buat2 mcm “ eh what happen ni ? “ punya expression. Then x sempat nak bukak mulut pun, the makcik-makciks next door ni berebut-rebut nak bercakap dengan aku. -____-‘ cakap dalam arab lak tu. Bukan main lagi tangan diorang dok gerak atas and bawah show the direction of “close the door and tarik selak pintu” Luckily one of the makciks knows English. So she’s the one who translate everything. Bagus kan. Dia ckp tutup pintu and lock the door. I was about to ask why but my instantaneous action is always faster than the mouth. Tak sempat nak bukak mulut lagi nak tanya why, tangan dah gatal pegi tutup pintu. -__-‘’’ Then usha through window pulak to look at others house and at that moment I came out to realize that Alexandria was literally SHUT DOWN! Most of the houses were dark and the window has been shut. Without knowing why on earth everything is dark, we switch off the light as well. Then received a call from one of my friends asking us to switch off the light and lock the door for a reason and I certainly despise the idea of knowing the reason. Yes a bitter truth. Penjara di Cairo sudah runtuh and the prisoners were OUT! The prisoners were out there and rumours spread they have reach Alex. Dammmnnnn! Dah mengigil-gigil satu badan kecuakan. I never felt this cuak and seriously this cuak is something I can’t really describe. I rather being hit with Mr.Sam’s (discipline teacher) crocs then facing this. Seriously cuak T.T Semua lampu rumah tutup and all 6 of us duduk in one room ala-ala campfire tu just that the fire came out from the laptop. In my mind memang x dak benda lain dah.. pikir nak balik Malaysia je. Tak pikir Turky dah Y.Y Then I received and making numerous calls from and to friends and embassy. Right now angan-angan ke Turki which will be in 2 days time terpaksa lah dibatalkan for temporary. But I still hope and pray that I could go though to Turkey then baru balik Malaysia. Eheeee. OK dah malam and there are pemuda-pemudi arab patrolling our neighbourhood. So I guess I could sleep well. Insyaallah.

Jom Bersyukur !

First thing first, let us recite Alhamdulillah. ha cakap... cakap..... Alhamdulillah.

Ye Alhamdulillah sebagai tanda syukur diatas nikmat yg tuhan telah kurniakan. You see, Alhamdulillah is such a simple word to express our gratitude to our one and only God, Allah S.W.T. Mari kite muhasabah diri, berapa banyak nikmat yang tuhan telah kurniakan kepada kita ? Cuba kita kira satu per satu nikmat yang telah dikurniakan, mampukah kita ? Nikmat penglihatan, pendengaran, Islam, ibu bapa, ahli keluarga, hidup, kesihatan, rezeki, rakan-rakan, akal fikiran etc. Tersangat banyak and we will never be able to count each and every nikmat that God has given to us and Allah pun tidak menyuruh kita mengira nikmatNya kerana memang kita tidak akan mampu. Up till now, when you read this post and when I'm writing this entry, nikmat Allah tidak pernah putus. Again, Alhamdulillah. Tuhan itu maha pengasih lagi maha penyayang.

HOW TO ?

Allah telah memerintahkan kita untuk bersyukur and Allah juga telah menggariskan beberapa cara yg TERSANGAT mudah untuk dilakukan hambanya sebagai tanda bersyukur. I believe everybody knows on how to be grateful but tak salah kalau kita saling ingat mengingati kan ? Manusia mudah lupa. So imma list down some ways on how to be grateful :

• Recite Alhamdulillah
• Sujud syukur
• Solat sunat syukur
• Sedekah

dan banyak lagi sebenarnya. [ sebenarnya x tahu and running out of idea! sila share :) ] actually those two that have been bold are the easiest amalan yang kita boleh buat. Reciting Alhamdulillah, most people selalu buat but what I want to stress here is that when is the time that we recite this Alhamdulillah ? Adakah hanya selepas kita mendapatkan sesuatu yang kita mahu ? Bagaimana pula apabila kurang mencapai apa yang kita hajati ? For example, if we score A in exams, for sure we would say Alhamdulillah. But what if we get B or C ? adakah carutan yang akan keluar ? or kalimah-kalimah Allah masih dibibir kita ? If we think again, getting B and C is not as worse as D and E. So kalimah Alhamdulillah masih dan sentiasa relevant. X pun, ucaplah Lahaulawalakuwataillabillah... Dapat pahala, allah pun redha. Kalau mencarut dapat apa ? haa.. fikirkan. Lagi satu sujud syukur. Rajin-rajin lah mendisiplinkan diri kita untuk melakukan sujud syukur setiap kali lepas solat. Bukan susah pun, setelah selesai memberi salam, sujud lah sekejap dan ucap lah

subhanallahwalhamdulillahwalailahaillallahwallahuakbar

ini berdasarkan ape yang ustazah saya cakap, Ustazah Sabibah namanya. Sangat best dan happening! Garang juga but memang saya suka sangat-sangat ustazah ni :) and for the bacaan sujud syukur tu, I'm not sure myself sama ada memang ada exact bacaan or just simply kalimah2 suci memuji kebesaran Illahi. again, please share if you know. Insyaallah, hati kita akan sentiasa ingat akan Allah apabila kita bersyukur. Walaupun musibah melanda, tapi dengan melakukan sujud syukur selepas solat, at least kita masih sedar bahawa Allah masih memberi peluang dan memberi hidayah serta kesedaran kepada kita untuk melakukan tanggungjawab yang diamanahkan kepada kita sebagai khalifah. Tak gitu ? Jom tambah amalan.

BERSYUKURKAH KITA ?

Tingkah laku dan tutur kata kita pun sebenarnya mencerminkan tahap kesyukuran kita. Tahap kesyukuran ? Apakah ? Ye lah, some peoples can say, Alhamdulillah syukur in front of other person but do they really mean it or is it just a tag line or some compulsory word just to make sure that we are decent type of people so that people can say "eh baguslah dia ni, walaupun pencapaian dah sampai langit ke 8 die tetap ingat tuhan dan tak lupa daratan" ( ini contoh yang direka! tidak ditujukan kepada mana-mana politician ) because sometimes, kelakuan orang tu x mencerminkan pun yg die ni seorang yg bersyukur. Some peoples are just so greed mengejar duniawi sampai sanggup mengambil jalan pintas yg sudah pastinya salah dan menyeleweng berlandaskan hukum syara' then at the end of the day ucap ALHAMDULILLAH. padahal harta atau kenikmatan yang dia dapat tu based on FRAUD. adakah itu juga dikira bersyukur ? yelah, memang lah dapat rezeki. but HALAL dan HARAM mcm mana pula ? Nauzubillah...

WHY DO WE HAVE TO BE GRATEFUL ?

Lah lagi mau tanya ka... Tuhan dah suruh meh, ikut je la. Firman Allah :

Hai orang-orang beriman, makanlah diantara rezeki yang baik yang kami berikan kepadamu. Dan bersyukurlah kepada Allah jika memang hanya dia saja yang kamu sembah. (Al-Baqarah:172 )

Plus this is the way to express our thank to god. Allah juga berfirman :

jika kamu bersyukur nescaya akan ku tambah nikmatku kepadamu, sebaliknya jika kamu mengingkari nikmat itu, tentu siksaan ku akan lebih dashat. (Ibrahim : 7 )

You see, Allah maha pemurah. Kalau kita ingat kepada Allah dan bersyukur diatas segala nikmat yg dikurniakan, Allah akan memberi lagi nikmat. Isn't it simple ? Just be grateful and you will get more and more. Islam itu indah and Allah itu maha adil.

haaa.. what do you think about the title ? For your information that PIMP has nothing to do with PIMPLE (incase you guys think it is a short form of pimple) or MTV Pimp My Ride. This is the real PIMP which you can found in Bukit Bintang at 2.30 am. But incase in Epgyt or to be more specific in Andralxiea, 11.30 pm pun dah ada.

It was thursday night where my friends and I went to Mansyiah for some shirts and jalan2 since we have finished our considered-as-final-paper mid sem exams that afternoon. (ape punye mentaliti ni ? habis exam ENJOY, padahal baru mid-sem). Anyhow concerning the jalan-jalan, we ate some ice-creams, bought some sweaters and I ate Pattaya for late supper (post dinner) at MARA building. ngehehehe...

After that we walked to catch a Tramco and as I passed by the Ramlh square and Ar*b man approached me. He was on the phone at that time so he asked me to wait. I noobly wait ( till now I wonder why the hell that I waited when that shit asked me to wait ). Then the conversation begins :

PIMP: where you want to go ? (in arab accent)

ME: going back to our house.

PIMP: you have a house here ? you live in Andralxiea ?

ME: *stumbling* err Aiwa. Ana tolib fi Gamaah Iskandariah

PIMP: you want time ?

ME : ha ? what time ? (x faham sebenarnye)

PIMP: anytime

ME: heh ? Ana mush arif. *Ape die merepek ni, Time apekejadah nye*

PIMP: how many are you in the house ?

ME: six of us.

PIMP: SEX

ME : yes six (bangang en ?)

PIMP: SEX

ME: yes six (sumpah aku ingat die cakap SIX. you know the arab accent is bloody difficult to understand)

WAN: die cakap Sex la afiq -__-"

ME:la ye ke...

PIMP: You want ?

ME: La'a.. Ana muslim.

PIMP: you sure you dont want ? I can see you want...

ME: *senyum kambing * la' la'... ( terus blah )

here's the thing, I dont mind if he offered me a bitch but x yah la cakap "i can see you want...". Ape muka aku ni muka sangap betina ke ar*b wehh... pfffttttt.... serious malam tu dah habis SEKEMA kot with nerd spectacle. tup tap kene label muke nak sex. Grrrrrrr....... Anyhow, that was my story and thank god that is just a small test from Allah to me. So what say you ? If a Pimp offered you and you are abroad with no parents or family around, would you accept it ? hrrmmmm... tampar dahi tanyelah orang sebelah

When the going gets tough, The tough get going

Alhamdulillah. literally I'm done with exams ( because there are still few more tests such as arab, dent intro, study skills yg x berape nak errr lets just make it as ...... )

It was a hectic 2 weeks so far in Alex with so many things to revise and yes not to forget CARVING! So far I could say that I'm satisfied with what I have answered except for 1 particular subject grrrrr... x pe2, let bygone be bygone and what is important now is Tawakal.

Allow me to give the overview of how the test looks alike

ZOOLOGY

If you look at the book, it is similar to Sejarah F4 text book. Yup the one with so many words and sentences with very few pictures but in this case you have to understand the pictures as well ( If sejarah, you wont bother who on earth is that dead person in the picture! )

But that is just an introduction to what Zoology looks alike. What surprised me is that the questions itself. Just imagine you read up to 120 pages few days before the exam since that was the pages that have been covered and the question end up like this :

1. Draw the structure of Areolar Connective Tissue and give the function of cell in the tissue ( 10 MARKS )
2. Draw the steps of muscle contraction and the graph of Twitch contraction and Tetanic contraction (tetanus) ( 10 MARKS )

So nak x nak I have to answer the "questions" and I did answered but of coz followed with a very much prays and tawakal. Insyaallah everything will be fine kot ??!!

DENTAL MORPHOLOGY

This subject is my biggest fear so far and same goes to the rest. Why liao ? Kerana... Kerana.... Kerana ye Muhd Adif kita hendaklah mendapat Kab Ba Ra Kaf Aliff Ta Nun Keberrrrkatan. Haa merepek dah. Well this is because we need and it is a must for us to carve the teeth. Haa, this is the thing that I ranting over and over and over again in my twitter. x caye , tgk ni !

So what is carving all about ?

well actually carving is an act of producing (an object) by cutting and shaping a hard material. In my contacts, carving is an act of producing ( a certain tooth) by cutting and shaping a hard wax.

How do I carve ?

Next post la I sepelin (explain).

Hrrmmm.. back to the Dental morphology. The test was divided into two sections, written and practical carving. For written, we have to understand and knows exactly each aspect and chronology of each tooth in our mouth. yes every angle and points . Alhamdulillah I could answered the questions and again TAWAKAL is the next best thing I could do. For carving, (both written and carving were in the same day) at first 10 minutes my adrenaline rush and shivers send throughout my body. We have to carve 'PERMANENT MAXILLARY CANINE' within 1 hour 30 mins. Then after 10 minutes, I managed to calm down and focus on carving. Whilst 'enjoying' and working on the wax, tgh tekun lagi khushuk nih, tiba-tiba

and explosion was heard. (Selamat x de ayat2 or aksi2 spontan yang bukan2 dilakukan, pheww) "sepertaya" a pelita-like where we put Kerosene in it and light up the wick which belongs to a girl that sits next to me was exploded. Dangerous kan ? the explosion was seriously sounds like an explosion (lol x tahu nak define camne dah) and everybody was utterly shocked and flabbergasted. Luckily the "sepertaya" didn't broke. If its broke.... i dont think this post was available by now. Alhamdulillah, syukur, syukur,syukur! Serious shock tahap dewa at that time. Then I started to shivers once again T.T On and on I managed to finish my carving within that period which again, Alhamdulillah. Now its up to Allah. and yes again TAWAKAL.

The rest of the subjects are something that I was malas to share coz nothing much to share. With that, I thank you. *bow, clap clap clap*
